Denhams Beach is known for its daily visit by a family of dolphins. In Spring from September until late November, the humpback migration enchants our shores and can be seen from Denhams Beach. Whale watching cruises can be taken from Narooma.

For the best coffee and bakery in the area try the Batehaven Bakehouse at Batehaven.

Surf Beach, which is an easy walk around from Denhams Beach has a small shopping Centre. There is a Chinese Restaurant, Piccolo’s for pizza, Fish and Chip- eat in or take away, Chemist, Medical Centre, Supermarket, Hairdresser and Bottle Shop.

There is also a Beach Store that has newspapers and takeaway food.
